An Adelanto man died after being struck by a car near a high-traffic Victorville intersection Sunday night in what county authorities are calling a suicide.Hector Pineda, 37, was struck by a car near the intersection of Hesperia Road and Bear Valley Road in Victorville around 6:15 p.m. Sunday and died as a result of the injuries at a local hospital, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said in a press release Monday afternoon.Deputies say, "Pineda left a clinic on Hesperia Road and walked into the street, into the vehicle's path," which was occupied by an unidentified driver.
