The Burroughs softball team was on the road visiting Hesperia on Thursday, April 20th, and the Burros left with a 12-7 win over the Scorpions. It was the second win in Mojave River League for Burroughs as they improve to 6-15 overall and 2-6 in conference with two games remaining in the season. The Burros season home finale is Tuesday against Oak Hills and the road finale is Thursday at Apple Valley with the first pitch at 3:15 p.m. In the road win the Burros started off scoring three runs in the top of the first and only gave up a run in the bottom of the inning.
