A driver in Hesperia was suspected of being intoxicated when he crashed into a family, killing a woman and her unborn child and injuring the father, authorities said.The Hesperia Sheriff's Station said at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Saturday, deputies and San Bernardino County Fire personnel responded to a traffic collision on Highway 395.Sheriff's officials stated that 43-year-old Eddie Escobedo of Hesperia was driving a black 2020 Ford Explorer north on Hwy. 395, north of Poplar Street.Also, Andrew Ruddy, 36, of Orange, was driving a 2018 Toyota Corolla south on Hwy.
